The service

PDF Desk is a free tool operated by PDF Desk, a sole proprietorship registered in India, of New Delhi, India. It runs in your browser and edits your documents on your own device.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. Document processing is intricate and edge cases exist. Keep your original file and check the result before relying on it, particularly where a document is used for legal, financial or compliance purposes.

Redaction in particular

The white-out and redaction tools remove the covered text from the file rather than drawing a shape over it. That is a real removal, and it is tested on every release. Even so, no tool can promise that every trace is gone from every possible document structure. Open the finished file and confirm the result yourself before sharing it.

Your responsibility

• You are responsible for the documents you process and for having the right to process them.
• Do not use the service to break the law, or to alter documents in order to deceive.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service or the infrastructure behind it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, PDF Desk is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the service, including loss of data or documents. The service is free, so no fees have been paid that could be recovered as damages.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top shows the version in force, and continuing to use the service means accepting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.
