How to add page numbers
- Click Open a PDF to number above, then the big button on the page that opens, and choose the file. To number several files as one, add them with Add files first and put the pages in order; see merge PDFs.
- Choose where the number goes: top or bottom, left, centre or right.
- Choose the style, the first number and the size, and whether the first page (a cover) should be left without a number.
- Click Number & download.

Sideways and landscape pages get their number on the edge you see as the bottom, the right way up. The numbers are real text, so the document stays searchable.
